Kevin Massie

Kevin is the Controller at Composition Wealth, where he leads the build-out of the firm's in-house accounting function, including the accounting close process, internal controls, and financial reporting infrastructure that supports the firm's continued growth. He is passionate about building strong, scalable processes that give leadership timely, accurate visibility into the business and free up the team to focus on higher-value work.

Kevin brings nearly two decades of accounting and financial leadership experience across public accounting and corporate finance. Most recently, he served as Assistant Controller at BlackLine, where he oversaw the global accounting close, led purchase accounting and integration for multiple acquisitions, and managed a global team. Earlier in his career, he held progressively senior roles at Silgan Containers, including Assistant Controller & Treasurer and Director of Financial Reporting & Treasury, and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he performed external audits for public and venture-backed clients.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of California. He holds an MBA in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus in Finance and Accounting, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and their two rescue dogs.
