Gabrielle Glemann serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Composition Wealth, where she leads the firm's legal and compliance functions and partners with executive leadership on governance, risk management, and strategic growth.
Gabrielle brings two decades of experience advising SEC-registered investment advisers, private fund managers, and global investment platforms. She joins Composition Wealth from Cercano Management, a SEC-registered investment adviser, where she served as General Counsel and Partner. There, she oversaw a global compliance program integrated to regulatory schemes across the United States, Cayman, Europe, and Asia, led the legal aspects of strategic growth initiatives including product development, M&A and advisor team integrations, and negotiated complex private equity, venture, and alternative investment transactions.
Previously, Gabrielle was a Director of Legal & Compliance at BlackRock, where she supported the firm's global alternatives platform across hedge fund, private equity, direct, and co-investment strategies. Earlier in her career, she practiced at Stoel Rives LLP in Seattle and Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in New York, where she represented the FDIC and SIPC in major financial institution restructurings, including the Lehman Brothers and MF Global liquidations.
Gabrielle earned her J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Bard College. She is admitted to practice in New York and Washington.
