Composition Wealth is seeking a full-time Operations Specialist to join our Technology team in our Seattle, WA office. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for ensuring portfolio performance data is accurate, timely, and client-ready. You'll help oversee our quarterly billing process and work closely with our investment operations and technology teams to improve workflows, reporting, and data quality across platforms like Black Diamond and Orion. If you get satisfaction from seeing numbers line up, systems talk to each other, and clients receive flawless reports–this role is for you.
Job Responsibilities
Performance Reporting & Billing
- Manage and maintain data within Black Diamond, ensuring performance metrics are accurate and compliant.
- Oversee the quarterly billing process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and validate portfolio performance calculations.
- Classify and track private investments for monthly and quarterly reporting.
Data Integrity & System Management
- Reconcile data across Orion, custodians, and internal systems
- Maintain up-to-date and consistent records across platforms.
- Support the development and maintenance of client portals and document access.
Process Improvement & Cross-Team Projects
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support training and scalability.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as custodial transitions and tech integrations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness in financial reporting and data management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Education/Experience
- A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services or operations.
- Hands-on experience with Black Diamond and/or other performance reporting platforms is strongly preferred.
- Background in financial services is preferred.

- Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000
This role is a hybrid in-office/remote work and full-time position in our Seattle office, reporting to the firm’s Director of Technology.
